To print A5 booklets
If you are using an inkjet printer, we recommend that you use a minimum thickness of 100 gram (or 100 gsm) paper so that the print doesn't come through from the other side. In addition, make sure that you know whether the printer prints on the top or the bottom side of the paper sheets in the hopper.
Download and open the file. Do NOT simply tell the program to print but click file and then print. A box will appear on screen. In the print range section, select “Odd pages only” and click OK.
The printer should now print 4 pages.
Take these 4 printed sheets and put them back in the hopper, with the first at the top, so that the printer will print on the unprinted side of the paper. In general, if your printer prints on the top of the paper then you can simply replace the paper in the hopper with the blank side on top. However, if your printer prints on the bottom of the paper then you will have to reverse the pages. Make sure that the left hand edge of the printing is pointing into the printer.
Repeat the printing command sequence but this time select “Even pages only”.
Please note that you can’t simply select double sided print as this produces upside down pages.
