This seminar took place in April and was led by Derek Aldred and Ray Davey who demonstrated the correct way to judge and show vegetables.
The second seminar was on Fruit, particularly Apples. Mr. Egedly of Pershore College and passed his own knowledge on to the guild both on growing and showing as well as judging.
This was one of the best attended seminars that the guild has held recently.
Visitors are welcome.
All meetings will be held at The Avenue Hotel, Gloucester.
At present we have 29 members of which 7 are training to become judges.
If you exhibit, grow or show, why not try your hand at Judging.
If you are interested in coming along - be you a beginner, exhibitor or potential judge, please contact the guild secretary Mrs Sue Archer, Maston Lodge, Spine Road, South Cerney, GL7 1TJ. Phone 01285-862416
